Thanks Nancy! I now have two more recipes to test, which I will tackle once we are back in Denver and our road trip is over - I'll blog about them in Sept. Let me know how your testing turns out as well - maybe together we can find that "perfect' recipe! Lee

Hi, I too have been searching for the "perfect" pudding. I will say your picture is very light in color. The sauces I have been reading about are not carmel but "penuche" tasting. I did find one that uses granulated sugar and heats it in small amounts over med heat and keeps adding the sugar until all is a nice brown color Then adding the butter and heavy cream. That seems to be more carmelly. I will try to get some English products for my cake ,like black treacle and Lyle"s Golden syrup. When I make it ,I will let you know as you seem very interested .Thanks Confectionally,Nancy

Hi Larry:

I haven’t posted the review yet because I wanted to use the pan a few more times in various ways. I should be posting a review in the next 7 to 10 days. Yes I did purchase it at Williams Sonoma. The only drawback I have found so far is that it can be difficult to clean. After experimenting, I recommend heating the pan to the desired temperature, then spraying it with cooking spray shortly before putting the food on – this method works best for clean up without negatively impacting the flavor or consistency of the food.

Thank you for following my blog!
