Place blackberries, honey, lime juice and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until berries are very tender.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
Place a fine mesh strainer over a medium mixing bowl. Press berries and their juice through the strainer to remove the solids.
Place strained purée in a covered jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Blackberry Lime Martini
Fill a cocktail shaker around halfway with ice.
Add 1/2 cup Blackberry Lime Purée, vodka, ginger liqueur and splash lime juice.
Shake vigorously to mix. Taste; add more lime juice as needed.
Carefully strain into 2 martini or coupe glasses.
Garnish with lime slices and serve.

Make ahead: Blackberry Purée can be prepared up to 2 days ahead, covered and refrigerated. It can also be frozen in a sealed container for up to 1 month.
